DrasticGrid is an Ajax-based datagrid with editing support. DrasticGrid is an Ajax-based datagrid with editing support. It uses MySQL as a data source and it supports pagination, sorting, editing records, adding records and removing records. Pagination is implemented efficiently, only the visible data is sent to the browser. The grid is configurable in many ways, you may specify wich columns are shown, and which are editable. DrasticGrid (formerly known as MySQLPHPGrid) is included in a PHP / JavaScript package, named DrasticTools.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
